Sorry, Critics: January Jones Thought Emmy Dress Was "Fantastic"

Fashion critics were split on January Jones' blue, ruffled Versace gown she wore to the Emmys.
But the Mad Men star, 32, loved the look.
"It's fantastic!" she told UsMagazine.com, adding that it took her "two hours" to get ready. "I slept in until noon!"

Her boyfriend Jason Sudeikis also told Us he loved the frock.
"It's something else, isn't it?" he gushed.

Asked if he enjoyed being at the Emmys with Jones, he told Us, "Yeah, wouldn’t you?"
Mad Men took home the prize for Best Drama.

Jones' key to celebrating?
"Going to a lot of parties and having fun!" she told Us. "We are kind of notorious at this point for being the last ones at every party!"

Ultimately, the dress drew the most debate at the Emmys. Her hair looked messy and the shade of blue is horrible. She either still likes the dress or she stands by it from the attention she's getting.
love the cut, the colour is ... well, too glistening, but it maybe the flashes, I had a dress once, was lovely in real life and looked awful on photos with flashes, glistened like a cardine

Two hours to get ready, and her hair looks that horrible? She needs to fire somebody! And I would not have worn that dress to my junior prom if it had been given to me! What horrid taste, poor girl.
Hey, why not? If she enjoyed the dress, then that's all that counts. And I'll bet it was a lot of fun playing "dress up!"

Loved it! This is a great, great dress and she looks stunning in it. She stood apart from the tame ruffles and mermaid dresses that were so ho-hum.
Great color, great form/concept, cocktail short would have been better (no train), but at the end of the day it looks like it was made out of a sleeping bag :S

I really like the dress-would have liked it better without the train...her hair though didn't seem right for the dress though.

The colour amazing, the dress would have been nicer if it was just a full skirt NO TRAIN, and the platform shoe fitted the style of the dress but an open toe would have been better...

there's a big difference between taking risks and just plain dressing poorly and having bad hair and makeup. She looks dumb and her hair is a rat's nest.
It's different and the color is a punch in the face! I like it!
