Lauren Conrad Signs Deal to Write Style Guide

Lauren Conrad's one-woman assault on the publishing world continues.
After Conrad hit the top of the New York Times bestseller list with her debut novel L.A. Candy, HarperCollins Children's Books announced Thursday that it plans to publish Lauren Conrad Style -- a fashion guide -- for fall 2010.

In a statement from the publisher, Conrad says that she's "really excited" about the new book, which will feature new photos of the one-time reality star throughout.
"I think fashion should be fun and reflective of who you are," she says. "I know this guide will offer simple, practical tips to help anyone look fabulous."

A HarperCollins editor adds, "At Lauren's book tour events, nearly every third person she signed a book for asked a question about her hair or clothes or makeup. In just a matter of years, she's become a paragon of style."

I think Heidi needs to learn a few lessons from her old friend ie being classy and likeable.Congrats to you Lauren you deserve everything that comes your way for being the good person you are, you are famous for all the right reasons not like some ple who run around hurting others just to be famous I wont mention names.I m sure your parents are very proud of you. -

What I like most about Lauren is that she has class. She doesn't parade around in revealing outfits, she's never seen with "the wrong crowd", she stays out of drama...she is truly a lady. I will definately read her new book. -
