Best known for her roles in Into the Wild, Panic Room, and most recently, Twilight, Stewart has offered critically acclaimed box office performances since she was a tween.
Born in Los Angeles in 1990, Stewart came from a show business family and started her acting career at age eight. The young talent took on small roles before landing the role of Jodie Foster’s daughter in the 2002 thriller Panic Room.
A steady stream of moderately successful films followed, but it was not until she was cast as the lead female in Twilight’s film adaptation that she truly put Hollywood on notice. She truly solidified her celebrity status as Isabella Swan, the girl who's boyfriend is a vampire, in the massively successful Twilight film adaptation.
Stewart, who makes her home in L.A., has dated actor Michael Angarano before officially being linked to Twilight heartthrob and costar Robert Pattinson in August 2009.
