Mel Gibson Steps Out to Go to Church

Over the weekend, Mel Gibson finally surfaced, walking from his $14.5 million Malibu home to his Catholic church for mass over the weekend.
The actor, 54, built the chapel in 2003 and services there adhere by his "traditionalist" views -- a foot-tall crucifix is located on the altar; the priest performs mass every morning entirely in Latin and women must wear head coverings.

Gibson could use a prayer right now.
For weeks, he has been at the ugly center of a bitter custody battle with ex Oksana Grigorieva.
Almost daily, new audio tapes surface of the actor berating his 40-year-old ex, threatening violence and spewing racial slurs.
In his latest tape - posted Monday on RadarOnline - he allegedly tells Grigorieva he regrets having a baby with her and acts jealous over her ex, actor Timothy Dalton.
"Did you get my last message about me being a bad father and Tim being a great dad?" Gibson asks. "You didn't hear that one? Well, you should go f*** him … because I don't care."

Women must wear headcoverings at all times in his church. This man does not see "us" as equals, and any woman supporting him is seriously lacking self-respect. We are in the 21st century Mel, and we don't live in Iraq. No sane person can be "made" to act insane. Mel was crazy long before this. I don't have any of the wealth and power this man does, but I am rational and capable enough to know when my buttons are being pushed and react accordingly. Mel has enough lawyers to handle a gold digger. What he doesn't have is self-control and decency.
All I can say about this, is "Ye whom is without sin cast the 1st stone". As for me I will pray for him.

What a sexist, arrognat ass! I used to love Mel Gibson...USED to. I hope he loses all rights to that child...she and Oksana would be better/safer w/out him. Okay seriously this guy has some psychological issues. Why doesn't he just come out and say it. Maybe if he admitted he has bipolar disorder or whatever the case is, people would feel a teeny weeny bit more pity for Mel. But as of right now he just looks like a big bully.

I think in part his religion has Mel all mixed up about what is right, wrong, decent, acceptable and he distorts the words of the bible to use as his justification for all his bad behavior....
