Kristen Stewart hit the red carpet of Monday night's Met Gala in what critics are calling a "Chanel catastrophe."

why does it matter if she smiles or not? she said on Oprah the other day that she was shy. if u were a new HUGE star wouldnt u be kinda shy in front of millions of people.. im sure you would so give her a break
Kristen is fabulous. She hates Hollywood and the way THEY dress her. I don't blame her for always looking ill faced. xoxo

Sheepish and cat-like don't quite go together. She's uncomfortable enough in the spotlight without having to deal with a dress that wants to wear her instead of her wearing it. I think maybe the stylist she worked with needed to be more cognizant of what Kristen is comfortable with.
It's a nice dress, but it doesn't work for Kristen. She doesn't have the height or the confidence. Look at people like Pink or Lady Gaga. They wear completely ridiculous clothes, but it works for them because they look confident in them. Kristen on the other hand, doesn't look so confident in these comparatively normal clothes, and that's why she never looks good in pictures.
She looks like a fool. You'd need some serious height to pull off that look, like Nicole Kidman or Taylor Swift. Sorry, but shorties cannot wear all the things the tall girls can.
I thought Kristen looked amazing at the Met Gala, I think it takes a lot to wear a dress like that but Kris definitely pulled it off. She looks flawless! Shes a beautiful person inside and out.
what confuses me is that she gets bashed for wearing Chanel but Chanel doesn't get bashed for making an ugly dress?? I'm confused! Other than that, if it were just a short dress (minus the sheer bottom), it really wasn't that bad

She looked terrible. The dress is all wrong and her lack of poise and confidence makes it look even worse. And of course, she looks miserable (what else is new?). WORST dressed of the night.

I don't get this girl. Apparently she hates the paps and getting her picture taken so much that she can't ever crack a smile and just be gracious fora few minutes. THEN WHY GO TO THESE EVENTS WHEN YOU KNOW YOUR PICTURE WILL BE TAKEN???? She and her BF are such self prententious losers. They will have no career beyond this Twilight crap.
