Madonna Stuns in Playful Vionnet Dress at Venice Film Festival
Madonna doesn't always take herself so seriously.
At the Venice International Film Festival premiere of W.E. Thursday, the 53-year-old Material Girl looked youthful as ever in a colorful custom-made Vionnet gown. Complete with red butterfly embellishments, the dress showed off the singer's toned arms and tiny waistline.
Madonna -- who directed the film -- accessorized the look with red glitter Miu Miu sunglasses and python Vionnet heels. See more pics of Madonna at the W.E. premiere.
Earlier in the day, Madonna -- currently dating French break-dancer Brahim Zaibat, 24 -- credited her ex-husbands for inspiring her to get into the moviemaking business.
"I see myself as a story teller and don't see it as such a big jump from songwriter to filmmaker because in the end we are all telling stories," she said. "I am and was attracted to creative people, which is why I married Sean Penn and Guy Ritchie, who are both talented directors. They both encouraged me and were very supportive."
