115@Kim and tired66- you are right. I agree with both of you.
Let her be a girly girl.Look at poor Shiloh Pitt, last time she was dressed as a boy and her mother tries to make her plain, when in fact she is beautiful. Her mother is jealous,Katie is proud of her daughters beauty and lets her shine!!!Go girly girl go!
What is wrong with most of you on here?Come on..seriously..you are going to call a 3yr old little girl a WH0RE?!If you had a child you would understand that this is a phase little girls go through along with make-up and their hairstyle...I have to agree with PJ that most of you sound very jealous and if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything. I have a 4yr old and she does pageants and she has never lost any of them and I don't put make up on her so that remark is a bunch of crap. Suri comes from parents that are famous and dress the part frequently and she may want to be like her mom like most little girls do.How many times have you all chosen something for your child that others didn't understand? Just because you don't understand their thoughts on it doesn't make them a bad parent and even if they were terrible, neglectful parents why in God's name would any "normal" person attack an innocent child? Grow up and think befor you speak.

Get over your selfs people ,the flamenco dress and heels on Suri is not a big deal,it gets done in Spain all the time and nothing happens to the girls and boys who go to the fair once a year.Gettig dress like that is not callin the shots, she's a litlle girl!
Loved your comment speedy. Just want to point out I am as liberal as they come...but speedy is dead on. You don't let a toddler call all the shots. Drew Barrymore did that from 6 on and she had years of hell, drugs and analysis to make her way through to figure out who she was and where her childhood went...after years of her overly liberal party mom raised her without any "No's" I guess she chose her battles wisely too. And choose your battles, is that over if the kid doesn't want hair brushed...AND wear heels, and hold a grownups hand on those city streets, and wear no coat in weather where the parents are, AND WEAR RED LIPSTICK in PUBLIC? C'mon, just a tad creepy this is real life wth plenty of crazies this is not a dress rehearsel or a dance recital for that matter. IMHO choosing battles is Knowing when to say "NO" and knowing when to let it go. I think think the Cruises should be saying sayingmore NO's like to lipstick in general, not choosing battles over which shade!
That's a bit much for a 3 year old, they both need to take parenting classes
Love your comment "Speedy".
It's funny how people are picking on a beautiful little girl playing dress up, and nobody noticed that Kate looks like she's wearing just panty hose and boots with her coat. Where's the rest of her outfit???
To Humpty Dumpty -- the nerve of you saying a 3 year old looks like a cheap hooker!!! You have issues!!
No I do not know what she was doing just before that picture was taken but I am sorry to say but her hair is always like that, it is down tangled and messy. My 3 year old would never go out in public looking like that. This child apparently never has any discipline, and she along with her parents will pay for it as she grows older.
My little girl is the same age, and loves to play dress up too. Sometimes its easier to just let her wear the fairy wings and blue eyeshadow to the grocery store, rather than spend 20 minutes with a child throwing a fit. I guess I just don't see what the big deal is, she is a stylish kid. What if someone had told Coco Chanel that she was dressed inappropriately at that age, think of where the fashion world would be now. I agree the kid needs to be wearing a coat, but I don't see what the big deal is about the rest!!!
I love to read all these women who get so indignant when people stand up for old-school parenting techniques. My 3-year old loved to play dress up but we didn't parade around town like that..dress-up was for home. Just like you didn't make a scene in a restaurant and I've witnessed that from this kid several times in restaurants in NY last year. She is up at all hours, she never wore a coat..she wears heels..dancing shoes aside, the kid is not a dancer and no child dancer is in dancing pumps on social outings. But when a picture is posted, we shouldn't comment adversely if we think -- maybe Katie needs to get a grip..oh no, don't "judge"??? Its a commenting board people, when something is so ridiculous - you comment. And wait - to the parent who said you had to pick your battles?? Yeah, that is when they are 15. You don't let the little ones run the household because -- big news - not everyone thinks everything they do is cute.
Do any of you that are talking negatively about her hair, do you have a 3 year old little girl? Some little girls hate to have their hair brushed and take out all their bows and hair ties. As a parent, you pick your battles. Is it hurting Suri to have her hair down? How do we know what she was doing right before this picture was taken? For all we know she was playing around in the park and her hair got a little messy. Also, for those saying she is running the household.... how do you know what goes on in their household? Are you there everyday? How do you know that they give her everything she wants? Because a magazine told you so??? Because we all know these magazines are 100% true 100% of the time!
I just wish Katie would fix her hair. Ponytails, pigtails, barettes, anything. Just do something with it.
i think she is lovely with flamenco dress
She looks so cute... i don't see the problem with children playing dress up. BTW you can get the flamenco shoes online at Childrensalon ;o)
I love being an Aunt to my niece, she also loves to dress up & it give me an excuse to be a kid myself since she loves to play pretend :-) Suri looks cute, a total girl & it's so fun being young with an imagination. My niece likes to wear princess outfits to ride he bike, it's so funny & cute.
I am not jealous of what they can do for their child...I have a 4 year old and she gets whatever she wants...daddy is a softy...but seriously a child playing in the park in that...REALLY???
Don't worry about Suri... She always has season 20 of Celebrity Rehab to work out all the crap her parents are putting her through now...
