Some fashion critics were less than impressed with the red top and matching shorts (by Tibi) Julianne Hough wore to the Los Angeles premiere of Footloose last week.

And it appeared that the 23-year-old dancer and actress was ready to cut loose for the film's Nashville screening on Friday when she rocked a skin-tight sparkly midnight blue Monique Lhuillier dress. She kept the accessories to a minimum, but styled her blonde hair in full, tousled waves.

The former Dancing With the Stars pro told Us Weekly that she was thrilled with her wardrobe for the remake of the 1984 classic. "The boots were the best part. I loved the red boots more than anything! And I wore all Levi jeans. It was awesome!"

7I think Julianne looks just as good in person as she does in pictures. I was in movie, Footloose with her (an xtra). Fun movie to film and watch!
she simply look smoking hot in red, that shows how sexiness can be achieved without flashing too much skin..cool chic & sassy on top of sexy :)
she is so petite that the blue dress is too much fabric she gets lost in it. She has a perfect little body that she needs a mini dress to show her legs to make the most of them, and maybe bare shoulders, or a cut out to show her waist. Ladies should know thier bodies and how to dress them!!!!!

Ibelieve anything Jullianne could wear anything and make it look marvelous. I miss her sparkling personality and dynamic dancing on DWTS. But so glad she is moving on being successful in her new adventures.
