The Selfish author and rapper husband certainly brought in the new year with a bang: Adding a third child to their brood January 15. The baby girl — named Chicago, inspired by West’s hometown — was born via a gestational carrier after Kim was advised by doctors that carrying a third child could come with potentially life-threatening risks. The KKW Beauty founder later admitted during an appearance on Live With Kelly and Ryan in May that choosing the surrogacy route was “the best decision” she ever made.

For fans of the Lip Kit founder, most of 2017 was spent speculating whether or not Kylie was pregnant after she went MIA for a majority of the year. However, she put all the rumors to rest on February 4, when she eclipsed Super Bowl Sunday by announcing she had welcomed daughter Stormi with the “Goosebumps” rapper on February 1. She shared the exciting news of her first child’s arrival in an Instagram post, explaining why she chose to go under the radar during that special time: “my pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself i needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way i knew how.” Kylie also shared a sweet video that documented her pregnancy and gave some insight into her and Scott’s private relationship.

Footage of the Cleveland Cavaliers player cheating on Khloé — who was near the end of her pregnancy with their daughter — with multiple women was released on April 10. “Khloé was at their home in Cleveland when she found out,” a source told Us at the time. ”She is shell-shocked and beside herself.” In a November episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Kylie revealed she was the one who broke the news of the cheating scandal to her sister: “I didn’t want to hurt her feelings, but I felt like she should hear it from one of us versus on the internet.” Another insider told Us, “If there wasn’t a child involved, Khloé would have kicked Tristan to the curb.”

Amid the news of the athlete’s cheating, the Revenge Body star searched for a way to get to Los Angeles to deliver their child but was ultimately unable to. On April 12, Khloé gave birth to daughter True in Cleveland alongside several members of her family — and Thompson. Although the pair worked on their relationship throughout the year, seeing the experience played out on the E! series proved to be difficult for the Good American founder, who shared several cryptic posts following episodes that documented the difficult time. However, she has kept an optimistic state of mind for the sake of her daughter, noting on Instagram that while she “doesn’t understand” Thompson’s behavior, “I choose to find a life lesson in every situation, even the nasty ones.”

The fragrance designer made headlines for all the right reasons in May after she met with President Donald Trump to request that Johnson, a first-time nonviolent drug offender serving a life sentence without parole, be released. On June 6, the Celebrity Apprentice alum later freed the 71-year-old — and Kim was the one to break the life-changing news to Johnson. “The phone call I just had with Alice will forever be one of my best memories,” she tweeted of the moment. “Telling her for the first time and hearing her screams while crying together is a moment I will never forget.”

The “Ghost Town” rapper raised eyebrows throughout the year. West made multiple controversial statements, including that “slavery is a choice” and the 13th Amendment — which ended slavery — should be abolished. But that wasn’t all: West also caught flack in May for reportedly “abandoning” a charity he founded, faced backlash for going on a political rant during an appearance on Saturday Night Live in September and embarked in a public feud with rapper Drake in December — but each time, Kim made it clear she had his back. Although a source told Us in October that the reality star is worried her husband — who has been open about his mental health struggles — is “unhinged,” she made it clear where she stands in May with one simple tweet: “I will always ride for my man!”

In true KarJenner fashion, the youngest member of the famous family celebrated her 21st trip around the sun in epic fashion. The Life of Kylie star began her birthday festivities on August 10 with a family dinner at Craig's before heading to a star-studded birthday bash at Delilah. Kylie — who showed off her post-baby bod in two stunning pink outfits — shared the spotlight with her sisters, who dressed to the nines for the occasion and joked that it was their 21st birthday too.

Kourtney and Bendjima — who started dating in December 2016 — split up in August, just two months after the model slammed her for posting a sexy photo on Instagram. Bendjima later took several media outlets to task for reporting that he was partying in Mexico with a woman — who was, according to him, just a friend, amid their breakup. One relationship that has improved for the better? The one she has with ex Scott Disick, with whom she shares children Mason, Penelope and Reign. The former couple are now coparenting successfully — Kourtney has even been spotted out to dinner with Disick and his girlfriend, Sofia Richie.

Kendall raised eyebrows in August when she explained why she was choosy when it came to the modeling jobs she took on. “Since the beginning we’ve been super selective about what shows I would do,” she told Love magazine. “I was never one of those girls who would do like 30 shows a season or whatever the f— those girls do.” After being criticized for being insensitive, she issued an apology to her fellow models: “It was intended to be entirely complimentary but unfortunately, my words were twisted & taken out of context.” But the damage was done, with many models in the industry making it clear that they valued any jobs that came their way — without the help of starring on one of the biggest reality shows on television.

The Arthur George founder stated in child support documents that he moved into the home of his mother, Kris Jenner, amid his child custody dispute with Blac Chyna, with whom he shares daughter Dream. Rob admitted that he has “minimal cash flow and no savings” and is “short nearly $300,000.” As for his sock line, Rob acknowledged his mother had to step in to keep the company afloat — and she now owns a 50 percent stake in the company.
