BIO
Born born Olivia Jane Cockburn on March 10, 1984, in New York City, the actress adopted the stage name Olivia Wilde years later. The 5'7" star burst onto the scene in 2004 as Mischa Barton's lesbian girlfriend, Alex, on the hit show The O.C.
Wilde began appearing in small roles in a variety of projects before landing a part on the hit drama House M.D. in 2007, playing Dr. Remy "Thirteen" Hadley.
The actress' life has been compared to a fairy tale -- literally. In 2003, she eloped with the son of an Italian prince, Tao Ruspoli, on a school bus in Washington, Virginia, making her an official princess. (They separated in February 2010 after eight years of marriage.)
Known also for her bombshell appearance, Wilde nabbed the No. 1 spot on Maxim's Hot 100 list in 2009.
